When you get a new bird don't worry if you don't have a name prepared already. Maybe it is better. When you get to know your bird a little bit maybe it will inspire you to think of a really great name.

Sometimes you will be inspired by the color. You can name it by the color of some fruit you like, that is the same color as the bird.

It is a good thing to wait a bit with naming a new pet bird because you don't want to name your bird Zeus if it is the cuddliest bird you have ever seen.

One more tricky thing when it comes to naming a pet you are not familiar with is that maybe you will get the bird's gender wrong. So it would be funny to have a bird called Batman only to find out it is more of a Batgirl.
