Vet Suggestion for Treating a Sick Oriental Garden Tree Dragon

Hello Natalie,

I’m afraid I can’t diagnose what is going one with your oriental garden lizards without first examining them.My top two rule outs would be parasites or infection, but other possibilities exist as well.If you recently purchased them, you should immediately contact the store/breeder and discuss what is going on.

You should also make an appointment with a veterinarian who has expertise in treating lizards. If you do not already know of such a doctor, the Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarian’s website includes a searchable database of vets that specialize in the treatment of these unique animals.

Best of luck,

Jennifer Coates, DVM
