Pet adoption centers are something I want to promote on this site. I want to help all those centers to find homes for the animals they are providing shelters for.

I understand that a lot of those centers are financed on their own and that they have trouble managing.

The costs are high, all the animals need food and vet care. There are also electricity bills, water bills and who knows what else.

I also understand that they get some small amount of money for every pet that is adopted. But that is not nearly enough to get them through.

So by adopting a pet you will help them and save money. How will you save money, you are asking yourself?

Here is how. Of the top of my head (some usual prices) - I recently went by a pet shop and saw that guinea pigs were 25$, neutering and spaying is around 45$. That comes to 70$. But if you adopt a guinea pig from a shelter you will pay a one time fee of 50$. Sometimes you will even get some food to go with him.

Why don't we all help pet adoption centers?

How do we help by adopting pets:

You can adopt a pet and take it of the hands of an adoption shelter
If adoption is primary way of getting pets they will not be bred just for money anymore as no one will buy them

What are we doing here? I am going to give opportunity to all adoption centers out there to promote themselves on this site! Under all this text you will see a form. Every adoption center that wants to be promoted should fill out the form and it will get a page of its own on this site.

What can you do for them? You can share this page with you friends, family, pet lovers and pet adoption centers in your area (no matter what country are you from!). The more people know about this the more centers will promote their work here - and more animals will get exposure and get adopted.

Guidelines for the pet adoption centers:
Fill out the form as best as you can. Give as much information as you can, don't forget the location. Provide your address or phone number or any other way you want to be contacted by people interested in adopting a pet from you. Provide information on what animals you are searching homes for. If you want and have a price list, you can include that too. Basically, make a web site page of your center. All you need to do is type the text in the box, I will do the rest. If you have a photo make sure you include one. Also, make sure you provide me with a way to contact you.

Did I forget to say that this is FREE? Well it is. It is our small contribution to the world of small pets and all the homeless but lovely animals out there.
